Pushed forward by our fascination, we have naturally come to focus on how lighting and chemical substances give form to the colors themselves. 　　While it is difficult to simulate the manifestation of light/substance phenomena, we have gradually discovered some constants in this little known parst of the world of natural sciences. 　　 With each discovery comes a delight akin to that of Balboa crossing Panama　 and gazing on the Pacific for the first time.　　 Thus, from our fascination has sprung forth our focus, 　　　which has ultimately led to understanding:the gradual unification of these three aspects has formed our corporate culture. It is our desires to use what knowledge we have garnered to work in dedicated cooperation with those in related industries. 1977：	The organization of ORIENTAL GIANT DYES & CHEMICAL INDUSTRY CORPORATION established in may 1977 with Mr. Chiu Chin-Chuan serving as the original Chairman of the board, and Mr. Chiu Kuang-Ming as the company President. Initial Capital outlay:NT$23 million. Offical approval obtained on July 04, establishing headquarters on Hsi Ning North Road in Taipei, and the factory at Pa-Deh Hsiang, Taoyuan County, on an 8,500 Square meter site. With a team of seven employees and the necessary plant installed. trial production runs were made.
1978：	Initial production began of Azoic Dyestuffs、Direct Dyes and Acid Dyes.
1979：	Company headquarters was moved to Cheng-The Road, Taipei while an R & D unit was set up at the factory site. In addition, Mr. Tatsu Arino from Japan joined us as our technical consultant, and after installing new modem plant, production was resumed.
1987：	Further plant had been installed and dividend transfer had increased our capital. The head office was again moved in May, this time to its current location in Chung Shan North Road, Taipei. The Organization was expanded to establish an Export Department, While a laboratory was set up on Tai-Yuan Road to strengthen our customer services.
1991：	An investment of NT$12 Million purchased new waste-water treatment facilities which utilizes a new form of chemical precipitation with activated carbon mud. In December We suffered a heart felt loss when our founding Chairman of the Board, Mr. Chiu Chin-Chuan, passed away.
1992：	In may, a new laboratory complex was established at Chung-Shan North Road adjacent to the main office. Services were expanded, and new application technology and R & D facilities were setablished. The entire Company was linked by a computer network. Annual Bussiness Turnover climbed to 2,400 tons and NT$520 Million, respectively.
1997：	In May obtained the member of International ETAD(Ecological and Toxicological Association of Dyes and Organic Pigments Manufacturers)and more strengthened to develop environment productions.
1999：	1999 In Feburary obtained ISO 9002 Certification approved by RWTUV
